Carole Samaha (كارول سماحة) Agrees To A Postponement

The Lebanese singer Carole Samaha (كارول سماحة) approved a resolution allowing the company Media Vision Organization to postpone the theatrical presentations musical "Zenobia" in September rather than mid-July of this year. The play will be in Cario, Egypt.

The company's decision to postpone was due to weather conditions. They wanted to be able open the theather in the open, which increases the area by 70 thousand square feet andbe able to hold a capacity of 3000 spectators to view the play.

Marwa (مروى) Fires Back At Haifa Wehbe

Lebanese singer Marwa (pictured at the top) has finally commented back to Lebanese singer Haifa Wehbe's (pictured below) accusations of why she was unwilling to sing with Haifa Wehbe. She said that making this choice has not harmed her or her success. She deliberately did not say anything for awhile after Wehbe made those comments. Wehbe made many comments that had offended Marwa, which has cause tension between the two. Wehbe has not aplogized for her comments.

Myriam Fares (ميريام فارس): Ina Mosh Anaheyah

Lebanese singer Myriam Fares has finished filming the video clip for her new song, "Ina Mosh Anaheyah." The filming of the video clip was done in Aljemezarah in Lebanon. The filming took two full days and Fares is very proud of the clip. This is something that is very different for Fares since the video clip focuses on a sad tune, something Myriam usually does not do. The video clip for the new song will be out in a few weeks. Nawal Al-Zoghbi (نوال الزغبي) coming to America

Lebanese Singer Nawal Al-Zoghbi returned to Beirut after a tour in Kuwait to promote the new album. She is now preparing to do a video clip for her second song "Lee Mashkalk." The filming for the second single from the new album is scheduled in mid-April before travelling to the United States in early May to preform. The second single was chosen by fans in Egypt, Jordan, and Syria through a formal polling. Al-Zoghbi's album is a top seller currently in the Arab world. It is in the top for the eight straight week in Lebanon and it's in the top for the second week in Egypt. Al-Zoghbi's success can only be topped with a successful performance in the States.

Sheriff Ramsey's (شريف رمزي) New Series

Actor Sharif Ramsey latest role is in a new series called "Sheriff's Letter," where he plays the main character along side Sawsan Badr, Ahmad Rateb, Rand S. and Dora The Tunisia. The series is based on a screen play by director Sharif Shaaban. Ramesy mentioned that he was happy to have worked on the project and is currently in the process of making two new movies. He commented on how talented all the other actors and actresses were in the series. Keep a lookout for the new series and check out Ramsey on the silver screen.

Hind's (هند) Album Hits Stores

Bahraini singer Hind has finally released her second album with Rotana. Hind's second album is described to be very diverse and colorful. Critics are very impressed with the album since it include a variety of Hind singing in different styles and dialects. The album includes twelve songs. One is sung in an Iraqi dialect while another in an Emirate dialect. Along with that the styles include classical as well as the blues. The delay for the album was due to the addition of some songs and the elimination of others. Many critics believe this album will be very successful in the Gulf markets and highly anticipated in the Bahraini markets.

Angham's (انغام) Kuwaiti Husband Wants Money

Recent fued between Egyptian singer Angham and her Kuwaiti husband has now lead the couple to seek a divorce. Yusef Fahad, who is a music distributor, and the father of her son tried to reconcile with the famous singer. Both families tried to intervene but Angham was insistent on the divorce. Both parties have now agreed to the divorce but the soon to be ex-husband of Angham is willing to divorce for the heavy price of 1.5 million pounds. Sources say both parties are experiencing middle life crisis and want both sides of the families to butt out of the sitution. In the end, both parties should be thinking abiut what is best for the son that they will continue to share.

Diana Karazon is Engagaed!

Jordanian singer Diana Karazon was recently a guest celebrity on the popular show “Paparazzi”. The singer was asked the host of the show journalist Ayman Noor Al Deen about her relationship with journalist/photographer Khaled Fidah. After no response from Diana either to deny or confirm the news, the host decided to contact her rumored fiance. Fidah confirmed that he is in fact engaged to Karazon and will announce it soon to the media. Karazon later was asked if she could dedicate any song to Khaled, what would it be. She chose “Inta Omri” (You Are My Life) for the famous late legend Umm Kalthoom. Later on in the show Diana sang a song for Khaled “Akadeb Aleek” (Lie to You) for the famous singer Wardah Al Jaza’ryeh. No wedding date has been announce, but we will keep you updated along with pictures of the engagement as well as the wedding!
